This weekend I was attempting some dark sky photography that didn’t go well when my wife messages me about the possibility of auroras. I found north and was confused by the bright sky thinking it was city lights in the distance. I pointed my phone at it and was surprised to see color. The sky was definitely green to the naked eye but i failed to see the curtains until for about two minutes one popped up overhead. I ran to get my wife but unfortunately it was disappearing before I could point my camera at it. But heres a pic of the horizon.
